In December 2019 the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf launched the first ever children's website of any German art museum: www.kunstpalast.de/kinder. Nele is the Kunstpalast's little mascot, inspired by the popular rhino statue of Johannes Brus in the museums's courtyard. She accompanies the young users with the oxpecker Piet and her friends.
